Caterpillar care for new vessels in LATAM
Thanks to the combined efforts and seamless collaboration with our colleagues from the Damen Delivery Department, the maintenance of CAT equipment on two tugboats ASD2312, which sailed from Vietnam and China to their final destinations in Latin America, was completed successfully. This marked a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and support for our clients.
Delivery and commissioning VB Kukulkan tug
In November 2024, the Heavy Lift process for the VB Kukulkan tugboat began, marking the start of its transportation to its final destination. The vessel arrived in Mexico in December 2024, where a technical team was assigned to carry out the initial startup and procedures.
Client visit to ACP by the technical team
In October, a dedicated team of colleagues that worked together in the Crane Barge's construction, visited the Crane Barge, CrBa7532 Panquiaco at the Panama Canal Authority (ACP). This visit provided a significant opportunity to engage directly with our client and gain valuable, firsthand feedback regarding this project. During the visit, the team was able to discuss various aspects of the barge’s construction and operations, identifying areas for improvement and fine-tuning the details that will ensure the highest quality of service and craftsmanship.
