Fratelli Neri holds naming ceremony for three Damen RSD Tugs 2513

Fratelli Neri held a naming ceremony for three Damen RSD Tugs 2513 in Livorno, Italy. The vessels join a fleet of several Damen Tugs. All three of the tugs are equipped with FiFi1 and feature escort, oil recovery, salvage notation and are fully compliant with Italian Flag regulations. The design of the RSD Tug 2513 combines characteristics of both tractor and ASD tugs to create a vessel which always sails and operates bow first. For this reason the tug is equally effective at both bow and stern towage operations.

Damen delivers two RSD Tugs 2513 to TSM

Damen has delivered two RSD Tugs 2513 to France-based Thomas Services Maritimes (TSM). The customer was looking for the latest in tug technology and will operate the vessels on the River Seine between the Ports of Rouen and Honfleur. The tugs will assist bulk cargo carriers, tankers and all vessels inbound for Rouen.

Damen delivers RSD Tug 2513 to Tug Malta

Damen handed over a new, next-generation, RSD Tug 2513 to Tug Malta, Malta’s leading tug operator. Named Senglea, after the nearby historic city of the same name, she joins a fleet that already has a number of Damen ASD tugs, but is the first RSD tug to operate in the region.
