A nautical, triple jubilee celebration of SAIL Amsterdam 2025 on the grounds of Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam
SAIL Amsterdam is one of the largest nautical events in the world and the largest freely accessible event in the Netherlands. It takes place every five years in Amsterdam and attracts countless visitors from all over the world. Due to COVID-19, SAIL 2020 had to be cancelled, which makes this year’s edition the 10th edition! We will celebrate the “Triple Jubilee”: the 750th anniversary of our capital, the 50th anniversary of SAIL and the 10th edition of the largest nautical event in the world.
The event lasts for five days and offers a wide range of activities, including ship parades, sailing competitions, music performances and cultural events all over the city of Amsterdam. Hundreds of impressive Tall Ships and other vessels come to Amsterdam's IJ harbor for a spectacular show on the water.
There will be plenty to do in the city, but be sure to plan a visit to the grounds of Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam, which will be open to the public on August 21, 22, and 23 for our exclusive Damen Experience!
